Kenyon Ladies compete in Track and Field events in Delaware

DELAWARE, Ohio – A few Kenyon College women’s track and field members took part in the 2017 Great Lakes Elite Meet on Thursday at Ohio Wesleyan University. The meet was used as a final qualifying meet for the upcoming NCAA Championship.

Chloe Hannah-Drullard posted the Ladies’ best mark during the shot put. The freshman tossed 35 feet and one inch which slotted her ninth. She also competed in the hammer and discus throw events and finished in 13th and 15th, respectively.

Senior Mary Lauletta added a tenth-place mark as she cleared 16 feet and 1 ¾ inches during the long jump. Fellow fourth-year Harlee Mollenkopf turned in Kenyon’s last mark as she competed alone in the 10,000-meter run and crossed the finish line in 41:58.72.
