Patrons have been flocking to Mazza’s Restaurant in Mount Vernon since it opened just short of two weeks ago and there will be alot of fun at the restaurant Saturday when a ribbon cutting takes place.
The ribbon cutting and official grand opening will take place at 5pm with the Knox County Chamber of Commerce. The Super Q 93.7 will be there from 330-530 playing games and having fun with a live broadcast. Mazza’s will also be doing some promotions as well.
Owners and brothers Travis, Mike and Tony Mazza wanted to open back up to give the community that great Italian food they remember.
Mike Mazza says the support from the community has been unmatched and that Mazza’s is so glad to be back.
Mike says some of the changes now are that they have increased the capacity of their bar and tavern area. He says that at the old location they had about 6 feet now they have 14 feet. They have added Italian wines and appetizers selections. The Italian chips has been the best seller so far. Mike says they are committed to fresh products.
For those who like gluten free, Mike says they have a selection of gluten free pastas. They also are committed to be trend driven and giving the customer what they want.
Mazza’s will be open for dinner Saturday Night from 5pm-10pm.
