DYW Radio Auction Hits Big Number

Phones were ringing off the hook and excitement was buidling during the 30th annual Distinguished Young Women’s Radio Auction Saturday at Mount Vernon Middle School. A live broadcast began at 10am and ended at 3pm. Items up for bid included food, entertainment and savings.

The auction raised 10,196 for the Distinguished Young Women Program.

“The volunteers and participants of Distinguished Young Women of Ohio Scholarship Program thank you for your continued support.” Laura Szenas, Radio Auction Chair remarked.

Through the 30 years of the program, the Auction has garnered over 292,000 dollars.
